We stayed for 3 nights at Old Whyly in May. What a wonderful experience - beautiful and historic property, comfortable and lovely accommodations, and wonderful food. Sarah made us feel right at home - the outside of the property and her gardens were beautiful. The location was quiet, but SO accessible to all the local places we wanted to see. And, we had the extra treat of meeting Sarah's delightful little dog Minnie. Highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.
Old Whyly is a beautiful house surrounded by delightful gardens. It is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break. Sarah is an outstanding host and a very talented cook. I have stayed there several times and can not recommend it more highly.Rooms: 5/5
Old Whyly is an oasis. Sarah is a fabulous host and made us feel at home. A truly scrumptious supper and breakfast prepared and cooked by Sarah. The garden and grounds are stunning, full of interest, beauty and peace with its share of wildlife.
An excellent place to stay - so good I recommended it to my parents, and there is no higher praise! Friendly and accommodating people, a beautiful garden, lovely house and excellent food. Not inexpensive, but the price reflects the standard.Rooms: 5/5
Old Whyly, without a doubt, is the most elegant, comfortable, welcoming B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. You feel as if you’ve been invited to visit the home of, let’s say, the friend of a close friend, who therefore treats you with special care. The house has an interesting history and is filled with beautiful things belonging to the family. The garden is beautifully kept. Sarah is a fabulous cook, so don’t bother to go out to dinner! We were there three nights and had several pleasant meals with other guests around a convivial round table. Choose this place over all the others, if there’s room. You’ll not regret it. We had a wonderful stay here, very warmly welcomed and looked after by Leah and Sarah. The house has an understated grandeur and is set in beautiful grounds. The homemade lemon cake served on arrival was so delicious, even the old speckled hen wandering about wanted some. A lovely way to start our stay. Although we didn’t eat supper here, this is an option and according to the other guests, does not disappoint. Would highly recommend.
Such a beautiful House and gardens- it was the perfect city escape we hoped for and more. Would highly recommend to anyone. A warm welcome from Sarah and Puzzle the dog with tea and lemon drizzle cake. Our room was beautiful, very spacious with an en suite. We went to a great pub for dinner, the food was exceptional and good cosy pub vibes. The breakfast was delicious and we would love to return with friends to enjoy more of Sarah's cooking. 5 stars all round!

Absolutely must go if you are in the area or not, worth the trip from London!. Sarah is the best host you can dream of, making yourself feel at home away from home. Most fabulous dinner as well. Thanks for the stay!! Second time there and will definitely come back
We felt totally at home from the moment we met Sarah Rooms: Very comfortable with a lovely view Food & drinks: Sarah is a great cook. The breakfasts were excellent and the evening meals we had were outstanding
