Best carvery around. Beef pork turkey and lamb. Not very often you get 4 different meats. Gravy is the best.

Awful! First pint of cask bitter we had had gone past it's best and whilst this was replaced with another drink, nothing was done about the barrel. Even though the bar man stated that it had been on for a while... When the food came, kids meal came with peas instead of beans, ok easy mistake. The ribeye steak ordered medium rare was cremated and beyond being edible. To which this was apologised for, but no offer of replacement was given. At the end of the meal when a different waitress cleared our plates and asked was everything ok, we were offered a free dessert which we declined as to be perfectly honest we didn't trust what would come out! We were then charged full price for what was essentially a plate of chips! Will not be rushing back anytime soon!

Lovely food. Just needs updating in the dining area which was dowdy and dated. Deep clean would make it so much better because the food was delicious.

Had a lovley weekend away and decided to stop here for a carvery before we went home, found this place on Google, it was brilliant food, a fantastic country pub and service

Fabulous old country pub, great beers and great food. Went with 14 members of my family, couldn't have been treated any better.
