Lovely lunch today. Food was good. Indoor setting lovely but also lots of outdoor eating areas. Busy outdoors. Service friendly. Location by old railway line.
Love this place, The atmosphere and service is brilliant. The beer and food is second to none!
Called in this afternoon and once again had a fantastic meal.1st class staff and service. Cheese cake to die forgreat pint of Cider. Looking forward to our next visit.
I first came here in November 2019 & loved it. So on my latest visit March 2020 I couldn't wait to get here. Just as last time the beers were excellent. Sadly I was driving & so sampled the the lower ABV offerings, Kelly Point IPA which is their craft keg serving & on the cask front the Sunlander. Both of which were light on alcohol & fairly hoppy offerings, but with enough taste to suite my pallet. Not being a local it's hard to give the brewery a comprehensive review, but certainly on my visits it's a lovely to visit with a friendly atmosphere, with both knowledgeable & friendly staff. I note from conversation that applications have been submitted to extend the building & food side of the business, which should see a substantial increase in footfall. This is no doubt is timed to coincide with the Cambrian Heritage Railway's decision to expand their existing heritage line to Weston Wharf & create a platform station/terminus there short to medium term which is right opposite the brewery. I see nothing but future success here, a great product & supported by a heritage railway, what's not to like? It's the perfect partnership. Recommended.
One of my favourite places to stop on the way to Wales. Amazing food, great beer and fantastic garden to have a drink in the summer.
Stonehouse really is a great place to catch a beer. The brewery is located on a working farm, the garden is on an orchard and the tap room has both an indoor seating area with a view of the working brewery and an orangery with a fireplace overlooking the orchard. Steeped in chilled out atmosphere which is intensified by the scent of the wooden interior. The beer is quite good too! I'm especially a fan of the vanilla/coffee porter which bears a full fledged flavour and chocolatey aroma.
Always friendly staff here, good food. Just love the Elevate cider made from their own apples. Called in last Saturday and they were extremely busy with a brewery tour, but managed to fit us in for drinks and snacks.
Stonehouse Brewery has certainly grown and evolved, wow! Big outdoors seating, eating area and it's also much bigger on the inside where the window to the inside of the Brewery is still there. The restaurant is full scale now and the food on the menu looked good. Great selection of true cask ales, enticing gins from their onsite distillery and with the train line now going again behind the Stonehouse buildings certainly makes this a great place and venue for parties and weddings. A special request to Alison and Shane, please do get some lovely drinking jugs or handles pint glasses! Overall a great place, friendly and welcoming staff and much more than a normal pub restaurant....
Didn't have food but it looked good. Nice beers and great setting. Bit difficult to find, needs more advance signage
