Table booked for five adults and two children at 12:00 on Sunday (8th April) but I called 20 minutes before the appointed hour to increase the number to nine. Although I was told the reservation could be stretched to eight (fine by me), when we arrived, a ninth setting and chair had been placed at the table. Great! Service by smiling waitress staff and quick delivery of very tasty food made for a great lunchtime experience. Thank you Bent Arms - a fabulous meal (not for the first time). We'll hopefully be back soon! PS Can I have the recipe for the rolls, please? They were wonderful!

The Bent Arms has a very interesting and ancient premises with a decent (tree covered) beer garden. However, the beer selection is limited and everything is very expensive. I haven't tried the food for a while but from what i can see, it isn't anything to write home about. The biggest downer for me about the Bent Arms is the atmosphere though, it's so somber! There's no music on and no TVs to provide ambiance, just people murmuring quietly in small groups. Not a pub to enjoy yourself in with your mates. 2.5 stars from me.

Friendly staff, good food and good sized portions. Touch on the expensive side, but worth it in my opinion. Good off-road parking and a nice sized beer garden tops it all off.

Lovely food, not too expensive and a nice choice of lager and ale. Friendly staff in a very old and character pub with an open fire for the winter. Good size rear garden with plenty of seating. Would recommend.

I visit the Brent Arms without fail every time i do the London to Brighton route on my bike. I think one of the pubs greatest assets is its staff who are always so hospitable and really friendly. The food/coffee is also always excellent and good portion sizes too :-)!
