Great gastro pub in Lindfield

Story

This historic building was refurbished in April 2011. The pub offers fresh local produce on our weekly changing menu, a selection of lager, ales, cider & wine from local suppliers. Our Head Chef, Frederic Bodeau, has worked at many top establishments in France and West Sussex and brings with him knowledge of different cuisines and techniques. His passion is cooking food simply yet creating seasonal, tasty dishes.

Our aim is to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for every occasion whether you are bringing the family for Sunday lunch or meeting friends for a three course meal in our restaurant. We promise to do our utmost to make it an experience you will remember.

Relaxed atmosphere with good food and good beer. The rib eye steak was particularly good.

This place exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing and the food was great. The waitresses and barmaids were friendly, informative, and just on the ball. Having worked in hospitality myself I felt impressed with their every move. My fiance and I will certainly be visiting again more regularly. Thank you again for making a long day end well.

My partner & I stopped off on Wednesday PM being our first visit-The service & food were of a 5 star standard however the only hiccup was the small amount of veg with the main course and a charge for any extra serving!-however the waitress kindly agreed to waive the extra charge-in all we both spent a most enjoyable evening at the Witch in most congenial surroundings and will return at a future date
