Quite pleasant, a small room but perfectly functional. Bar area is quite nice. Staff very friendly and breakfast was decent.

After reading bad reviews and publicity I nearly cancelled my booking here on 18th March. Thankfully I chose to continue the booking after being reassured by a trusted family who had stayed here recently. I was upgraded to a deluxe room as I was staying four nights which was a bonus. The room was very spacious and clean and was cleaned every day. The first night they didn’t provide any towels due to “being let down by the dry cleaners “. However this was rectified on the second day. The room was quiet and well appointed with tea and coffee replenished every day. The communal areas were clean and tidy and breakfast was very nice with a good choice on offer. The bed was very hard in the room making sleep challenging but overall I would recommend this hotel. The only word of warning! The manager and manageress came to the hotel in November and were leaving the Monday after my stay. For this reason I would reserve judgement until you make a visit. On my experience though a reasonable budget hotel which was good value

Had a great weekend, food really good everywhere clean n tidy, staff ever so friendly and helpfull, recommended to all.

Greeted by a scruffy receptionist who was unable to tell me the time for breakfast as he didn't work in the mornings. Went to room which was warm but a little dusty. Bedside light didn't work and there was no remote for TV tried to ring down but phone didn't work had for go down to reception twice but got no help and had to give up and not watch TV could not get a signal for the WiFi from the room so tried to sleep but was woken by people talking in the corridor at 4 am didn't have breakfast but this was extra including £2.5 for a coffee left hotel tired and disappointed

Been a few times, Great stay for the price... couldn't ask for much more as only 45 pound and 20 pound extra for late checkout. Quite dated but nice and clean, Would reccomend
