Very pleased I chose this hotel for my brief stay in the area. Room is immaculate. All areas of hotel similar. Could not ask for better staff! My goodness what a refreshing change . From arrival to departure including service to other customers their attitude was exceptional. My doggy was made welcome and the whole experience was 5*. Thank you.
Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We had a standard room double bed and it was much better than expected for the price. Much better than premier inns we've stayed at which cost a lot more. Breakfast also had a decent choice. Car park round the back only had about 10 spaces but we arrived early and it only cost £9 for overnight which is cheap but there's also another carpark nextdoor if needed. On the whole a really great place, very clean, friendly staff, great food and a lovely atmosphere. Also a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent hotel located near to the train station. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was the usual self service with a good array of options.nFriendly front desk staff may this a delightful visit. We would stay here again.
We recently stayed in this hotel for a few days after our property had a gas leak and a water leak over Christmas and New Year. I can think of better Christmas presents, tbh...nnDuring what was a frankly very bleak time, this hotel offered a welcome relief in the form of a hot shower, a comfortable bed, a lovely breakfast and extremely friendly staff.nnBreakfast is also free. I have stayed at 5 star hotels who charge £30+ each for breakfast, so this really is a steal!nnHaving also stayed at a couple of other hotels in the area before, I can honestly said the experience here was far superior. Considering it's supposedly only 3 stars, it really is a very lovely hotel and surely deserving of more.nnThe staff are all wonderful and take great care of everyone, so thanks again to everyone who looked after us during our stay.nnP.S. If you happen to be staying here and you aren't local, this hotel is within a minute's walk of the train station so you really can't go wrong if you're after a central location.
Lovely hotel. Very clean room. The reception staff gave us 5 star treatment on arrival and behind the bar throughout the night and in the morning for a gorgeous breakfast. Made us feel very welcome and comfortable
