We visited the theatre post Christmas for the panto - firstly, not from coming from the area, I was expecting a stupidly expensive car park... but no, a large FREE car park right outside was available! Much easier when you have children in tow! At the entrance we entered fairly swiftly with tickets scanned and in the foyer it's a large area where you can purchase food / drink. The theatre itself was large and fairly comfortable. Booster seats for the small children as we entered. At the interval we had to pop back to the foyer to get ice creams etc. where as normally would have expected someone selling in the theatre itself not a problem, but if one parent goes to the loo then you have to drag the kids with you back to foyer area! We had a great time at The Beck theatre, and the Panto was a hit with us all! And they allowed / gave us the chance to take photos towards the end of the show!
A cosy little theatre with great acoustics, comfortable seats and generous leg room. Surprisingly affordable drinks and refreshments - a pleasant change from exorbitant West End prices. We saw the very talented Luther Vandross tribute act, Harry Cambridge and band. A great night out!
A very nice theatre venue for musical shows. We went to see "Frankie Goes to Bollywood" & the vocals were brilliant through the theatre sound system. I'd go again to see another good musical show.
We went to see The Mersey Beatles on Thursday. They were great. We really enjoyed the show. The Beck is a lovely place. Staff are helpful and welcoming. There is a nice place to sit outside while waiting to go in.
I saw a fantastic music concert there and as a disabled person every care was taken to make me comfortable. The ushers were very courteous and guided me very well. The parking was spacious. Plenty of disabled parking was available. What a fantastic experience!
It was a good experience; great show from Michael Jackson! The wait for toilets can be long during intervals, though. ⏳
Great venue, great staff, now security on the door a great addition for venue safety. A terrific concert with Michael English last night from Ireland, look out for Derek Ryan in October. Please allow plenty of time to get to the theatre as it is in a busy location just of the A406 north circular road and the A312 road towards Heathrow.
Great local theatre although let's be honest, its quite dated. Seats are comfortable compared to some theatres in London. I've seen some great comedy here, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert etc but tickets for those go very fast! Booked tickets for a Prince tribute once but it got cancelled day before probably due to low ticket sales, so bear that in mind when booking less popular entertainment. I would recommend NOT to eat here, I had a nasty experience in 2022 with a burger I ate.
The Show - Frankie Goes to Bollywood was amazing!! However the theatre was so hot and management refused to open the doors for circulation appreciated the theatre is old and has no AC but it was ridiculously HOT. I am sure it was breaking Health & Safety regulations. The 2 stars are me being generous.
Went to see Luther Live with Harry Cambridge. Fabulous show, great musicians, and vocalists in the band. Theatre is absolutely fine. The only downside is that there were just not enough people to serve customers prior to the event starting.
