I wouldn’t recommend going here is it’s not to the famed “old timey beamed and arched” cinema screens. It is old timey, but in all the wrong ways. Everything is old and smells old and the screens are small, even though the screens are small. Scary screening experience in terms of quality. The staff were helpful.
At the time of watch one of the movies in screen 1. The room was not clean and lots of rubbish was left on many seats and on floor. So there was no cleaning before the viewing started. Also the sound system was not good at all. I was disappointed. You come to the cinema for great picture and sound system experience.
Lovely staff, good selection of movies considering it is a small cinema. The location is convenient but check your ticket to see where your screen is located as they have 2 buildings. They have a small Costa coffee next door where you can get pastries and food.
The screen is really small. Most of the comments are true about how small the screen is, you need to book front row tickets to have a decent experience. The staff were nice though.
Friendly staff, clean etc but standard seats in screen 1 have very little/not adequate leg room. If you sit first row in the back tier you cannot see over the wall in front. If you sit a row back the dimmed ceiling lights cause glare. But overall pretty good but not as good as it should be. Screen 3 is a nicer scale and lots of leg space!
I went to this cinema to wacth batman in screen 2. The screen is significantly smaller than what it was in the diagram on the website. therefore we were further away from the screen than what we wanted. But my real dissapoitment is the audio quality. The sound system is so poor beyond belief to the point where I was thinking that I could have had a better experience at home.
This was one of the worst films I've seen, Michelle Williams was so irritating and useless in the part of Sam's mother. It was slow, so boring, and amateurish, I thought it would never end.
Would give zero stars if possible. I was was in screen 7 for Top Gun Maverick and immediately noticed the screen size was very small when walking in. Quality of the picture was lacking in both contrast and brightness with the screen being offset over to the right. This makes the online booking system very misleading as you are in fact further away from the screen than expected and off to one side by selecting a middle seat. What made the experience unbearable was the atrocious sound system. Only the front and right speakers were working with no sound from the left or rear speakers. One of the right speakers was also blown as it was rattling and distorting. I made it through the intro of the movie before walking out as it was overly distracting and would have ruined what is meant to be a great film. Quite possibly the worst cinema experience I have had in London, I can’t actually believe how they can charge full price and allow for such a poor experience!
wowee i mean i love odeon but avoid the one in richmond at all costs. i’ve been here twice and both times my nose was throbbing because of how dusty it is. just old and extremely run down. don’t even get me started on the seats and screens… pictures attached. go to the putney one instead, now that’s real luxury
Very tired looking cinema. Its in a great location and ticket prices are reasonable buy the seats aren't very comfortable if you're watching a long movie.
