A very nice spoons slightly spoilt by the rude young lady serving. I've never has anyone say to me "here" has they hand over the change. Never mind, anyone can have a bad day. I had a very good mosaic ale, Soul Train. Clean interior and impressive garden and exterior building- showing off lots of colourful plants
One of the best 'Spoons I've ever visited. Nice exterior / interior, warm atmosphere & friendly staff. Food was great value too.
Lovely food, good new Christmas selection. Like all spoons you get what you pay for, but that's why I love them. The hot drinks machine's are amazing. Try the hot chocolate!
Just had 1/2 char grilled chicken, WOW AWESOME! Eggs Benedict are awesome!Wow, the large mixed grill is epic!Awesome fish and chips with scampi. Great beers, friendly staff, you just can’t beat this place for quality and value. Why go into the town centre and pay 3 times more for your beer? Had a mixed grill tonight and a pepperoni pizza, both meals came with a pint! Happy days.
Visited on a Friday so it was very busy. The food was nice and was priced fairly reasonably when compared against other similar Weatherspoon pubs. Good selection of drinks, lagers, ales and snacks. Something for everyone in the did menu, too. The staff, although busy, were still very helpful. I'd pop in here again when I'm next in the area - nice one!
Excellent all round. Waitress was quick to clean the table thoroughly. Food was quick to arrive. Pints were excellent too. Very reasonable and pleasant experience. Staff were helpful.
Stopped for quick breakie. Fantastic value and tasted great. Coffee was spot on and can't go wrong with free refils! Bought some extra as takeaway for homeless guy we passed on way in and chef added extra to the order for him too. Overall excellent value and lovely staff!
Best spoons around. Better than Chippenham and Trowbridge, not been to any others to be able to comment. Staff are polite even when they look to be under pressure. Seating is pretty decent, we always manage to get a booth when we go which is usually around 3/4pm on a weekday.
Great place to have a full English breakfast at a bargain price! Just popped down to The Bear in Melksham. Till 11th Nov '20 you can enjoy a full English breakfast and unlimited coffee for £4 till 11.30 am, Mon-Wed! Food was nice, coffee good, I surfed using their Wi-Fi, what's not to like? I went about 10.30am, was really quiet, they are very covid aware and you need to scan via an app your details for track and trace. Really enjoyable brekkie!
Four of us had breakfast there on Friday. Nice friendly staff but our breakfasts were cold. Next time I will ask for our meals to be hot.
