Stayed at the hotel here for two nights. Staff were so helpful with making sure my accomodations were being met. Room was on the smaller side, but plenty for a couple. Room was clean and I had a nice view of the river behind the hotel.nnThings to let the restaurant/ hotel know:nI could smell everything the kitchen was cooking since the room is above the kitchen I think, so some of it wasn't very pleasing. I would also suggest some type of hinge on the doors, so they don't slam. Was incredibly loud every time anyone came and left on the floor I was on. These aren't necessarily negatives as they didn't impact my stay much. Just recommendations.
My Nana lives in Strabane, and every time I come to visit her, we go to The Banks. Fantastic food, great menu with lots of choice and the staff are amazing.nnWhen you come in the door they are always super friendly and attentive. The food is always top quality and great value. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely brilliant experience, plenty of time between courses and the table service is beyond any around. Can safely say it is a bit out of my price range but I was treated that evening but if you can afford to go here it is absolutely worth every penny cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Definitely visit again in the future the home made bread which accompanies the soup is delicious including the soup and the main courses are phenomenal. I never had a sweet because I don't eat them but I'd say if I did it would have been exceptional also.
Absolutely stunning place, they got us booked in for a table at only an hours notice on a very busy nice, staff were lovely, very reasonably priced but the food was the real winner, the flavours were unreal, every course was superb, can't wait to come back.
We came for Saturday Lunch we enjoyed the chicken wings with smoked cheese mayo, had chilli prawn salad, spiced lamb and the sugar pit bacon finished with lemon tart, dessert of the day, 2 expresso 1 red gate cider & a bottle beer Nice flavours, nice portions and lovely place to eat.
