Visiting a friend in Sion Mills for just a few days and visited Restaurant 1861 twice. After our delicious meal the first time we had to go back before moving on in our travels. Our second visit was just as good. There were 4 of us and each meal was beautiful presented and so good we couldn’t stop raving about it. The staff is very friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant

Such a beautifully restored building! The staff couldn't have been more pleasant, the food was a credit to the chef and the children's menu was excellent. The coffee was one of the most tasty I've had in a long time. Finally, the restroom facilities were very clean and hygienic. A lovely atmosphere and perfect for a family meal. We enjoyed every moment of our impromptu visit!
