Stopped here for something to eat on the way to Donegal. What an unexpected suprise, was quiet at lunchtime on a Monday but I imagine its alot busier at prime times/days as both the food and service was great, potion size was good and food was well presented and cooked to perfection! Was a lovely surprise start to our night away! Great wee pub grub spot and prices are very reasonable for portion size and quality!

We visited Murphy’s on the green on our stay in strabane and so glad we did! Such friendly staff members who were very welcoming. We got the garlic mushrooms to start with and they were unbelievable! I then got the nachos and a family member got the chicken breast with vegetables, that was the best mashed potatoes we’ve had in a long time. I then got the salted caramel meringue and that was so delicious! It had a little tub of warm salted caramel on the side that you got to pour out yourself. Great atmosphere in the restaurant too. We will definitely be recommending to everyone we know and we will be visiting again!
Total joke of a restaurant, arrived 5mins early for Mother’s Day booking, waited 20mins for someone to take our drinks order then a further 20mins to take our food order, then waited over 45mins on the food to arrive , asked the waiter when would the food arrived told just a few minutes, 25mins later and still no food whilst other tables around us who arrived well after us are served their food before us. Angry people at another table waiting 1 1/2hrs to be served.nFor Mother’s Day they should have been better prepared, never again, they offered to not charge us for the drinks because they took so long to serve the food. Never again!!!!
