Just been for a late lunch and the food was really good, the chicken pie and steak pie were both really good and the fish was cooked to perfection, just as fish should be cooked. Great selection of cask ales which is a big tick from me and the atmosphere is really nice and the building is stunning. Will most definitely be coming back for more
I tend to go here 2-3 times a week for lunch with a colleague. The food is always fantastic but it's the staff that make this place my number 1 and why i won't go anywhere else. All the front of house staff I've ever spoken to have been brilliant. Friendly, welcoming, polite and you feel like nothing would be too much bother. Overall I can't fault this place and you know you'll get fantastic food and service every single time. I'd highly recommend the Nicholson burger and duck croquettes, my colleague has developed a mac n cheese with brisket addiction as well so I'd say that's a good shout as well!
Fantastic place to eat! Family of five two adults and 3 kids! Well hosted and served with quality cuisine over 20 years established!Food: 5/5
Called in for something light to eat around Lunch time & was pleasantly surprised at what we received. For £10 I purchased a Pulled Pork Sandwich and a drink Cider. My wife had the Club Sandwich. She had fries & I had chips. Take a look at the menu at what was included in them. A former Bank from 1980-1985 it became I Pub in 1985. I remember visiting in tne 1980s. This was my first time back in the place. Great food & very interesting building. If your looking for something light for lunch at a great price then you must pay a visit..
First time visiting this pub. It's a lovely looking building with a nice, friendly atmosphere. I've been here a few times now and can recommend the fish cakes.Food: 4/5
Best Fish Chips in Manchester. Fish batter was perfect, crunchy and not oily at all. The oil used is new and clean. Enjoyed very much. Service was excellent , we were sharing a large portion, the nice server gave us 2 side plates without us asking : The ambience is very interesting, it used to be a bank !! There is also no service charge! Thumbs up Will definitely visit again thank you
I had the steak and ale pie. It was delicious! Amazing place and good service.Food: 4/5
I had an awesome time at The Bank. The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are top-notch, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely a place to unwind with mates. Big thank you to Lucie and Harry. I highly recommend it!Food: 5/5
Thank you to the amazing team here who make us feel so welcome every time we visit. Great food, always really quick service and friendly staff. Unusual to find such a central location with a ‘local pub’ atmosphere. Top tip- Get the pie!
Loved this place, had two smashing pints and it has a great interior and wonderful service. Manchester is a very friendly place.Food: 5/5
