Popped in as loved the look of the old style pub. Good selection of beers on options and the layout of the pub was great. Good couple of pints had hereService: 4/5
One of the best traditional pubs left in the town centre. Excellent bar staff & friendly customers. Comfortable seating areas upstairs & below I would definitely recommend a visit to have a pint or two.
If I lived in Manchester I would immediately make this my local. I rarely walk into a place and immediately feel at home. Like a TARDIS it's somehow bigger on the inside and really welcoming even to tourists despite clearly being a community pub. Highly recommended.
One of the hidden treasures of Manchester. A stunning pub with a decent selection of beers, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. That day I tried the Cross Bay - Zenith. A lovely IPA full of flavour.
Very nice bar woman downstairs who I bonded over crochet with. Lots of screens for football.Service: 4/5
Great pub and service and a fantastic atmosphere Food: 5/5
Saturday night drinks, great staff, quick service, found space for five of us.Service: 5/5
Fantastic atmosphere, Barmaid Julie was very polite and kind. Thanks!!Food: 5/5
The bar staff here are always kind and helpful. I come in here as I much prefer it to the busy wetherspoons round the corner. Downstairs seating is louder and more vibrant and upstairs there is usually not that many people and they are all having a quiet chat. I really appreciate a pub like this.
Brilliant pub excellent buzz set over 3 floors very lively good service great atmosphereService: 5/5
