We popped in as the curiosity of the lovely bakery. We tried a Portuguese tart and a cherry pie.. we had it outside and we came back for more! :D bought one of the bread and an apple turnover. Absolutely delicious! We'll definitely come back. The lady who served us was also very nice!Food: 5/5
The best artisan bakery in Muswell Hill. The owner is making everything from scratch and no addition of any preservatives or artificial flavours. So far, I have tried their bread, the cheesecake, the croissant, the lemon muffin and the amazing challa. I got back for a second one. The owner- a lovely man- works extremely hard and long hours, you still find him up to 22:00 -if not 23:00 - in the bakery serving and baking fresh cookies. He might be in the back baking or preparing the dough- if you don't see him in the front- ringing the bell is useful. Clean place and authentic artisan bakery.
Really old school bakery - the man behind the counter was very cheerful and friendly. I got a freshly baked apple turnover for £2 - unfortunately it tasted rather mediocre and the dough was strangely sour, and coupled with the tartness of the apple just didn't hit a sweet spot.Food: 3/5

One of the few places in London you can get a proper crusty role sandwich, excellent mince pies, proper cornish pasty, and cherry pie. the sour bread is good too. An iconic and classic bakery thats been around for a long time.Food: 5/5
I swear a trip to Muswell Hill isn’t it without buying a cholla or a bagel at this bakery. Love the fresh donuts and croissants. Staff is always so lovely and friendly.Food: 5/5
Ghastly. I used to get lovely food from here a few years ago. The Bakewell tart was an offence to Bakewell. No almond flavour whatsoever. Won't be going here again. Such a shame. Independent bakeries are usually tasty homemade products.
I got in as the smell from there was delicious and was very empty. My surprise was that I was scolded by a man because I didn't know the name of the bread and I didn't saw the bell to call him he was on the back and I knocked. The "croissant" was alright and the "apple turnover" was pretty bad, lots of baking powder taste. No wonder why the place was so empty. Definetly I won't return.
