We stayed in the Pioneer room above the bar and it was beautifully decorated in a modern style but still cozy with exposed beams etc, and very clean with some fab toiletries and snacks provided. The bed was very comfortable and the shower large and powerful. The bar itself was lovely with a great selection of beer and spirits. The breakfast was delicious and they made great vegetarian arrangements at our request with no fuss. The one thing to keep in mind is that if you want an early night, the rooms above the bar are not for you. It was quite noisy until after midnight being right above the bar, and the walls through to the rooms next door are also quite thin. This is fine if you're planning on a late one yourself, but keep in mind that the rooms above the bar are not ideal if you're looking for an early, peaceful sleep. It was perfectly quiet and comfortable after then.

Excellent in every respect! Amazing food, beautiful rooms, really lovely staff, and a very peaceful location, highly - very highly recommend this place!

Absolutely beautiful location, we spent two nights here, bit would have happily spent more, lovely little secluded lodges, I'd say the only downside was not having a fire place

Very nice pub with modern interior. Nice staff & friendly locals. Very bright inside, lots of nice interior design touches. Only had drinks, no food. Nice craft beers.
