CAMRA’s current national pub of the year ~ a real varied mix of cask ales on sale at competitive prices which is always good to find. Look out for the Tap Take Overs which will be advertised on the Untappd beer app.
CAMRA pub of the year!! Excellent range of beers!! Plenty on dark/Porter tyres at very high strengths...thus only sold as halves!! Really great discussion with local about home Brewing....he sounded almost like a professional. But note opening times....some days at 3pm. So I had time to burn for two hours! Great place.
Well we went there cus we had to go thro oswestry on way back home and we knew it had been voted camra pub of the year 2024. Beer choice was great and pub was great but toilets were small dirty and mouldy, toilet seat broken. Ive been to lots of much better pubs TBH so bit surprised this pub got the best pub award ..
National CAMRA Pub of the Year. Cracking boozer. Would have given it 5 stars but it lost a mark due to a staff hygiene issue - two members of staff petted dogs and did not wash their hands afterwards, even though the dogs licked their hands! Something management may like to address perhaps? Otherwise great
I can see why this is award winning. One of the finest real ale and craft beer pubs I've set foot in. A traditional looking pub, cosy with plenty of board games and a stunning beer menu which is also on Untappd. Friendly service, reasonable prices for craft too. Probably near on 20 different cask and kegs to choose from. Superb.
