Booked by friends for Sunday lunch, lovely welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings, so comfortable to. Food was gorgeous, tasty and cooked perfectly, carrots absolutely spot on, not many get them perfectly cooked. Roast beef was perfection on a plate, oh REAL plates to not wood, slate or a bin lid, proper plates !nThankyou Townhouse for being so accommodating, we had a lovely time.nR.e parking, it's hidden away which meant we drove by it twice, better signage would be useful.
Lovely bar and restaurant. Came for Sunday roast over the bank holiday weekend. Fabulous service and great quality food. All food was quickly served with good portion sizes. Reasonable pricesnnThe onyl negative was that we were sat by the kitchen doors and every time the door opened you were hit by a loud blast of music from the kitchen. Would of been 5 stars without this
Great atmosphere!. Amazing food. We've tried the Sunday pork belly roast which had a delicious gravy and great sides!. The starters and desserts deserve a try. Beautiful and full of well chosen flavours!
Just had a superb Christmas Dinner at the Townhouse. The food was interesting and of excellent quality. The staff paced the service perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant.
Had the most gorgeous Roast dinner on SundaynThe beef was rare, beautiful slab of tasty beef, the biggest Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had, fresh vegetables and the second best bit was the red cabbage under the beef , and not forgetting the big dish of cauliflower cheese…. Best roast I’ve had in Oswestry …. You get what you pay for and for £18 it was worth every penny…. Also friendly service from Laura and Rebecca, always nice to see a smile on a friendly face ….10 out of 10
