The Anchor Inn

Story

We serve the finest Palmer's Ales and fantastic food with ingredients sourced from the best local producers.

Our cliff top terrace comfortably seats 100 and the views are arguably the best in the country, if not the world!

During the summer months we serve a great selection of fresh fish & shellfish caught from West Bay and Weymouth, and lobsters straight from our beach!

In winter, the emphasis changes to hearty stews, slow cooked meats and watching the storm waves crash in with the comfort of our roaring wood burner.

So whether you're after a light bite, a full on lunch or dinner, or just a pint or two, then The Anchor Inn at Seatown is the place for you!!

Probably the best little hidden-away restaurant ever. I love the fact that their seafood dishes are fresh from the ocean and actually really fairly priced. I absolutely will come back for the mussels!

Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Well kept beer. Food was great and made for a memorable visit. Multitude of places to eat inside and out, although cliff top too cold in February to spend more than a few minutes. On a sunny day the views were wonderful.

Great spot. Recently refurbished by the look of it - posh toilets. We are here on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and it is very quiet. WiFi is welcome as I get no phone signal.

Always a beautiful place to visit for some lunch in the sunshine. The location takes some serious beating and the food is excellent.
