We love going here for breakfast. £9 per adult and kids eat free, all buffet style all you can eat. Staff are always friendly and helpful. And its a family friendly atmosphere. But make sure you book a table, as it can get pretty busy on weekends. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking right by the door, and large double doors with easy access. Disabled toilet available as well.
Arrived on a Sunday evening. It was reasonably busy but didn't think it was too bad. Was waiting for our order to be taken for half an hour which then took another half an hour to arrive. At the end of the meal, we had to ask for the bill twice and then was waiting for the card machine whilst waiting staff were stood talking. Don't think I'll visit again. Ended up being here for over two and a half hours.
Wouldn’t bother today a manager has called in sick and short staffed had to wait 55 mins for food. Don’t normally leave negative review but this is 2nd time in my last 2 visits both times a manager at fault.
Been several times using various offers and 99% of time the service is excellent - very friendly without being overly fussy and the variety of food caters for all tastes. One of the few chain places that i also find does a good sunday lunch. Drinks are very reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants.
Brilliant food with really good prices. Staff are superb, always welcoming and cannot do enough to make your visit enjoyable. Highly reccomend.Food: 5/5
Went and had Sunday lunch, defiantly NOT value for money.. have had better carvaries at other local pubs for ½ the price .. won't be back for quite a while.... Standards of dress for staff have certainly slipped with most of the staff wearing denim jeans, just looked scruffy........
Our waitress Joan was very abrupt from the moment we sat down. She rushed us for our order and what we wanted to drink and seemed awfully disappointed when we needed some more time. We got out starters, which were cold, and once my father had finished she was already there to collect his plate while the rest of us were still eating. Our mains came along, which were cold, and she didn't hesitate to collect plates while other members were still eating, once again. Same thing happened with desert. We finished our 3 course meal within 40 minutes. It wasnt even busy, she just rushed us. As soon as we were done with out desert she rushed over with the bill even though we didn't ask for it. All together not very good service
Rubbish manager. We walked out. Asked for usual margaritas. Not on menu but barman happy to make them as usual. New manager, "Michael" enforces new policy, if it's not on the menu, we won't sell it. He looses 3 meals, bottle of plonk and three regulars. Had thought such petty management was confined to the NHS but obviously not. I wonder if management at Beefeater gives a darn what customers think. Probably not. Still, Lavo does fantastic food and does cocktails. Go there instead.
