Exactly the sort of place I was looking for, friendly, good food and good choice of drinks. Good portion sizes as well! Was nice to sit up on the bank side with a drink, will be going back again.
Barry is great, we stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast is amazing, evening meal very good. Lovely sitting on the benches on the river bank enjoying the views. Decent car park.
The Jenny Wren Inn is a really nice place. We recently celebrated a birthday meal. The choice of food is enticing, the meals we ordered were freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff was attentive and accurate. A really nice evening, thank you .
Took a bike ride from Scunthorpe to the Jenny Wren inn.We stopped for lunch and a drink. What a lovely place and friendly staff ,we will be back. Plenty of car parking available and the food is great.

Very nice pub and B&b. Very friendly and kind. The rooms where clean and very well looked after. They didn’t had vegan options for breakfast but nicely they found us some alternatives. And the coffee was amazing
My local pub and I don't go in often enough but I'm glad I did, food was delicious and filling! Very quiet at lunch time on a Tuesday for a relaxing meal.
Well what a wonderful evening my friend Debs and I had. Firstly sat on the banks of the Trent , then had a beautiful meal served by very friendly staff. The landlord was a very nice chap and to add to our evening there was a band on called the Geriatrics…..Fabulous. It was such a lovely evening Thankyou to all at The Jenny Wren Susworth

Had a meal which was cooked perfectly. We didn't wait very long, the food came hot and was very tasty. The staff were very friendly, Although they clearly are understaffed, they made sure we didn't wait long to be served. The young girl that served us just put the food on the table and walked away without asking if we needed any condiments. But we forgive this minor blip because the food was well seasoned and we enjoyed the meal without vinegar on the chips - chips were perfectly cooked. One comment we would make is no vegetarian or vegan options on the menu main course section. We will go back because the food we had was very good, just wouldn't be able to take our friends who don't eat meat. Kid-friendliness: Friendly environment. Highchairs for infants. Parking: Car park
