Travelled 30 Miles there and 30 miles back for what I can only describe as thrown together Main meal. My starter parfait with nice chutney was very nice. But what came next was not. My Scampi was filled with nothing the chips were awful and the peas no taste at all. My husband order mixed grill cooked medium to well and it was pink the lamb was as tough as old boots. Was not going to comment on here but this is not worth the money at all just normal pub food but with ridiculous prices. Would never return. Management seemed to not be concerned

Nice pub, menu was nice but seemed a little on the pricey side I thought. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the chicken skewers starter and some sweet potato fries....they we're really tasty. My husband had the pate starter and the mushrooms starter and he enjoyed both greatly! All in all a nice place just a little high on the numbers front

Excellent friendly service at 8pm on a Saturday even though we hadn't booked. Staff were attentive, food was excellent and the surroundings were lovely and relaxing. Desserts were just fantastic. Well worth a visit.

Awesome cosy place! Good ales. Only came for a drink but will definitely be returning as I've seen one of the staff eating mega deliciously looking burger and if not the fact that we've eaten just before we got there I'd be well digging into all the food they have there!!

Amazing little pub. Currently sat in a beer garden overlooking a lake.. surrounded by swans.. a Shetland pony, bunnies and birds wondering how soon a can get back to being my mom here too. The halloumi fries starter was the nicest things I've ever ate
