Story

Great local pub, at the heart of the community in Maghull for a long time. Ideal place to wile away a few hours with a drink or a bite to eat. We have external seating to the front and rear and have BT Sport and Sky Sports for the football fans amongst you plus a pool table and darts in the bar. We have a 40 table seating area for you to enjoy something to eat and we are family friendly so children are more than welcome too

Its cheap but pretty good quality food. Its not trying to be a michilen (no idea how you spell that) star restaurant, its just great pub food at reasonable prices so anyone can have nice meal without breaking the bank. The new refurbishment has really improved the place, it looks a lot more welcoming. Their beer garden is great, its a massive area with the seating spread out so you are not encroaching on anyone, its an enclosed area so you also feel at ease kids if they want the to run around.Only pity is doesnt have kids play area, but its still a great little sun trap. The staff are very friendly and always are great will our kids too. Our little ones always ask if they can go the Alt for their tea.Its a family favourite.

Good Value, Family Friendly Pub with a mixture of classic and new Pub favourites. Excellent atmosphere and Staff now sporting a new look from its recent refurbishment.

Very dissapointed at the Alt Park Maghull.Just popped in with my dad and brother for a meal.There food was Ok,not great! I ordered lasagne,only to find that it was frozen in the middle.Sent it back,and ordered another one.Frozen in the middle again.No apology off the manager,only off the poor waitress.Will definitely not be going there again.I would of gave no stars,but had to choose 1.What a let down.
