We stayed here for one night, from the moment we checked in, we was made to feel most welcome.. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food was amazing both Dinner and Breakfast.. we would not hesitate to stay here again.. the general manager was amazing.. views from the hotel room was stunning.. we would have given it ten out of ten if we could..
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, set in a peaceful location with lovely views. Staff are all brilliant, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Accommodation is very comfortable, clean and tidy. Food is superb, and the local ales are great. Many thanks for making my stay stress free.
We went with our two dogs and baby after a walk on a horrible, rainy day and the staff possibly owners couldn't have been more accommodating. The beer was delicious and when my pregnant wife ordered a latte they give her a free brownie. When she ordered a second latte, I jokingly asked where the brownie was, and the waitress proprietress? gave us two, as she assumed I wanted one. I haven't tried it as yet, but my wife says hers was delicious. Will definitely be back as the menu looked delightful.
Actually worked here rather than eat or stay. Excellent location on a famous local landmark. Lovely bar an restaurant area. Food is from the Oakman brand, above average seafood and meats well cooked and presented. Rooms are modern very clean and well maintained. In summer I would imagine it's an amazing spot to visit.
This place is such a stunning country pub. We where staying in the area for a hen party and we booked in for lunch. The staff where so polite, accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and the pub its self was so pretty inside. Thank you Alma Inn
Comfortable, clean room, very dog-friendly. Lovely food, great service, reasonably priced. Our second visit, won't be our last!Rooms: 4/5
Very good food. Not cheap but is worth it. Hotel rooms big and comfy bed
Lovely pub with great views. The choice of lagers and beers is good, but pricey. Food is not too bad nor great for the expense.Service: 5/5
Too much fat on the beef. Veg was lovely but when you look forward to a roast beef dinner. I was very disappointed Service: 5/5
Lovely Country Inn in a beautiful rural setting. Met up with family for an overnight stay. Food was delicious and of a very high quality. Unfortunately however, there was a very large 60th birthday party taking place in the next room which we were not informed about before arrival and the noise made it impossible for us to chat in the restaurant. We had to move outside fortunately it wasn't raining . The staff were extremely apologetic and compensated us with free drinks which was appreciated. Rooms were lovely and quiet and breakfast delicious. We would return provided there were no parties taking place!
