Oakland Village is located in the heart of the national forest, close to the town centre of Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. Oakland Village is an inviting place for friends and family to meet and enjoy excellent food , whether you want to have a quiet drink, a quick bite to eat, a pleasurable meal or a special occasion, we will make it a great experience.

Went there for the wife to get her eyes tested. Lovely Cafe with friendly and helpful staff with a great menu with a specials board " changed daily " pie of the day , roast of the day and soap of the day. They also have a lovely little hairdresser up stairs. Will definitely go back when the bar n function room is open.
Went for COVID jabs 1, 2 and 4. Very easy to find where you need to go, in and out quickly, plenty of car parking around the corner. Not too far to walk if you're disabled from the car parking spaces.
Nice place as retirement Village only went for covid jab but nice bar / cafe and atmosphere and friendly staff. Seems ideal place for a pensioner to live. I feel we could live there. I wonder what apartments are like. Lol
Attended a party in one of the function rooms, warm comfortable atmosphere. well looked after by the staff nothing was too much trouble all were friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5
Revisited for my wife to get her booster for COVID-19. Very helpful staff & all amenities clean & tidy with building. NHS staff brilliant too!Atmosphere: 5/5
Went for COVID booster, plenty of parking, no wait to be seen all done in 20mins including the post jab waiting periord
Nice place the Elvis show was on a stage so show it all , prices at the bar a bit more expensive then local pubs

Went there for COVID vaccinations but it looks a very nice modern retirement facility
Only went for my Covid booster but the place is lovely,clean and bright. I'd happily retire here!
