AVOID IF YOU REQUIRE EDIBLE FOOD. Ordered a freshly cooked Large fish n chips from Upo's in woodville... so after taking away the tail ends which were rock hard batter this was what I was left with. Absolutely fooking disgusting. AVOID. THIS MUST HAVE BEEN A LEFT OVER FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE.
Delivery was completely mashed and crushed. Chips a weird orange colour. Collected next order but peas were obviously a blend of peas and gravy. Curry sauce also had been spun out with something else and bits of chicken?Food: 1/5
Not the most friendly place most of the staff don't talk and your waiting ages to be served! Once I finally got served by a young lady who came out of the back was friendly, but the other older staff not one word etc. Food was medioca and could of been better.Food: 3/5
If I could give it less than one star I would. Fish batter was soggy and thick. Fish has no flavor. Chips were OK. Mushy peas and curry sauce watered down.
Staff were lovely, but chips were not cooked enough for our liking.
Portions are tiny and prices are high. Much better food literally across the road
Really poor quality, chips hard, fish didn't seem very fresh, sausages seemed like they had been I the warmer all day skins hard. Sorry to say this place has gone downhill.
Having thrown away my cold chips, my greasy cold fish and warm but unappetizing peas I can honestly say the best thing about this establishment is that there are about five or six far better chip shops within a two mile radius. Whilst I don't doubt the haddock I bought was absolutely fresh when it was cooked, probably several days prior to my visit, by the time it was served to me it was well past it's best.
Last night i ordered chicken kebab the nan bread was hard ot like it usually is ,meat was hard not fresh very disappointing
I can't say it's great because it's a bit variable, but I've never had a bad meal from here. Like most chippies of you catch them when they're a bit busy and everything is fresh and hot you'll enjoy the food. Plus the bonus is they're open Sundays.
