Very friendly staff and the food here is excellent. Vibrant, colourful and authentic flavours and although the portions seemed small at first, they were actually quite filling. Interior is cozy and has a nice atmosphere. You will need to order rice on the side of mains separately. I recommend green chicken curry and chicken satay; supremely tender and flavourful.
Food was very tasty. Actually much better than we expected. Not sure what we were expecting but it was a pleasant surprise. Not quite easy to locate and locale had quite a bit of building work going on. Indoors was cool and quite though. A bit smaller than you'd think. I also very much appreciated the presentation of the meals.
Good restaurant with affordable prices located just above the mile end park. The place is a bit small yet quiet. Not the place for a couple though. I loved the food!

I love the Thai room and am quite shocked at some of the negative reviews on here. I have experienced nothing but the highest level of both service and food from these guys. Lovely interior and canal-side location. I can only imagine that their take-away service leaves a little to be desired hence some of the bad reviews. Brilliant set menu on a Wednesday too although I'd stay away from the mixed platter!
Honestly, that was best food I have ever had. takeaway or not. ordered through amazon Prime Now app. Restaurant was so nice to add prawn crackers forget those white blant crackers most restaurants serve, these were brown-pink with prawn pieces visible!. Everything was nicely packed, spill-proof, they even added cutely packed set of cutlery and a napkin! My red curry was delicious, prawn toast were actual real toasts with minced prawns on top. Seriously I say it again - I have never ever had such mouth-watering, delicious food in my entire life.
Order food directly from them. The delivery took an hr, but they did tell us this when we ordered. The food was hot on delivery. We had the 'Chef's Platter starter', followed by a Panang curry. The food was lovely and really tasty. We will definitely be buying from them again. Highly recommend.
The Thai Room Restaurant was simply amazing. The Tom Kha Gai was perfect, and our main dishes were plentiful and incredibly tasty. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, and the whole experience was very pleasant. We plan to return, and I highly recommend you try it!
