Great place for great meals. Creaky old building with slanted polished wood floors, moody lighting a the scent of history. The lunch menu is both reasonably affordable yet a glimpse of the amazing food they have to offer. The tasting menu, and accompanying wine pairing is fabulous. Great wines that fit closely with an exciting menu of rich and varied flavours. Would recommend for very good food and tasty wine in classic surroundings.

What a restaurant should be. Elegant decor but not stuffy. Good food & wine. Lunch is great value. Dinner is pricey but still good value. Really enjoyable place to eat.

Beautiful food, and service. We dined for my husband's Christmas lunch and were all delighted by the service and the creativity in the dishes. Portion sizes are small but don't be fooled the full course has you feeling very satiated!
