Three or four times a year I meet up with my two sons at this TGI Friday and we are never disappointed. The food is to a very good standard and the service is to. The location is perfect for visits to the Metro Centre or just off the Newcastle bypass with easy parking.

Really poor food last night, starters of j Daniels chicken strips had to be changed as they came out cold x4. So other 3 diners are separate. I had California chicken burger and fries, to say fries were tasteless is an understatement. Hub had fish, he was really disappointed, said he has had bigger and tastier from a box in supermarket. The server did all she could hence 3 star and not 2. I find Tgi's has gone down rapidly in the standard of food. Not the price however, not a true reflection of quality versus cost. I won't be back.

The three of us had the set meal two courses option £10. I had loaded skins first. While this was smaller than one normally gets but that was fine. I had the hot dog for main which was quite large but as expected. Staff were attentive and service speedy. A good all round report. To be recommended to others.

Had a gluten free pulled pork burger, chicken nachos and cider here last week. Good food and nice staff from the off duty waitress arriving for her shift who held the door open for me when I went in (tall, thin, blonde young lady, sorry i didn't catch your name to give you credit), to the manager who was very polite and took the time and trouble to explain their (extremely thorough) kitchen etiquette for people with allergies. Nice experience. 😁

Food great as usual but service poor tonight. Long wait left standing before anyone came to take us to a table and a 40 minute wait for food. Waitress lovely...but initial delays far too long. The restaurant was not busy.
