Harvester Metro Centre

Clean and tidy restaurant that has potential to be nice. The food however does not warrant the price. The salad bar, harvesters original selling point was depleted and the remaining veg dry and limited. Service was polite and friendly and addressed the point of the over priced soggy garlic bread quickly. My partner complained her chicken in the bbq chicken was watery and looked alot like reformed meat. The food and menu needs some serious looking at with other restaurants serving in house authentic chips compared to their oven chip look alikes. Rant Over.

Really good menu with excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Thought the sauce bar was a really good shout. Manager male was a bit grumpy but all the girls that served us were brilliant. Would go again.

This restaurant is fantastic the food and staff are wonderful. It's really good I'd advice anyone to try. They also do wonderful deals via there app. We're going again next week. Thanks harvester for a great time. Wow again I went for breakfast this time with kids. How amazing hounestly thanks to Rachel she was brilliant really great service from her. And the breakfast really fantastic. My child got the waffles and bacon, my other child got the Continental breakfast wow brilliant value. they loved it I will be back. Really not very nice. I’m giving them 2 stars as the staff were lovely. I remember the Harvester being a great place in the 1980s but these days it isn’t - the food is terrible. £12 for chicken and chips - tasted dry and reheated. Very disappointing and overpriced. Salad bar contains little fresh salad - lots of mayo drenched veg and processed vegetables. Won’t be coming again.

Waited ages for food watercress was slimy and the herb butter was frozen over all not a plesent meal couldn't wait to leave won't return

First time at a harvester, definitely interested in going back again.

I went here for lunch today. staff very tentative and pleasant. Food was awful. I had mixed grill with under cooked fried egg just warm chips steak was rubbish. My partners meal was also Luke warm. To be honest member of staff asked if meal was ok I said yes as I didn't want to complain. Paid the bill and left won't be going again poor value meal. Colin and carol

We have had a really bad experience tonight. Had to send food back to be heated, got told they would make a fresh batch but when we got 'new' portion 30 seconds later it still had my bite mark in the food....straight out the microwave. My husband is still hungry now as he sent his food back and was so disappointed he refused to order something else. I ordered a large glass of wine and got a small and my daughter who ordered mac and cheese has just vomited for the third time since returning home. Staff were pleasent yet inexperienced and unable to handle the situation. Fair to say we won't be returning.

Nice and clean place, up to Harvester standards but this is twice we have found that salad bar was running low and it wasnt replaced. Once we had a half cooked chicken but the manager was apologetic about. Staff could do with a bit more customer service training.

I appreciate that the galley kitchen is a little small but this does not excuse the quality of the meal. Firstly they had run out of fish, so I had to choose another main course. The burger had no taste and was not hot. French fries were barely warm. I believe that they rely on the heat lamps to keep food hot. They obviously are not efficient enough. Revamp the kitchen and provide a better service to the customers.
