Overall this was better than expected to be honest. Ultimately it’s a TGIs, though a good one based on my experience. The ribs were great for a UK-style baby back situation, coleslaw was nice, sauce was good though would have been better thicker, fries were standard but decent. Prices are steep but the quality is just about there so it’s not terrible value. Deserts were good. Place is a bit cramped in the corner and whilst the server was great, the food took on the longer side to arrive. Overall it gets a recommend from me for a family outing etc. - it’ll have something for everyone and is pretty chill.
Great staff, very attentive and very hospitable. Easy accessibility to restaurant with multiple doors. Didn't have to wait long for the food or drinks. Personally my rating is 3½ stars, the food main courses was a little on the bland side but the starter's was quite flavourful.
Had a nice unexpected meal here. The service was pretty quick despite being busy. There's a great range of American style food including burgers, fajitas, ribs etc. The restaurant was clean, tidy and well kept. The parking out the front of the restaurant is free for 3 hours, but be careful as some areas are different.
TGI's has really gone downhill since our first visit a couple of years ago. I have no complaint with the food as that has always been consistent, albeit a tad overpriced. My issue is the service that you recieve, it is really bad. For this visit we were left a the greeters podium for 5mims before our presence was acknowledged, then when we were shown to our table one of our seats was still covered with food from the previous customers, which we had to ask to get cleaned. When looking around the restaurant there were numerous tables that were still full of dirty plates from customers that had long gone, which does not make for a pleasurable dining experience. I also asked for another drink which we did not recieve. In summary I will not be rushing back!!
Disappointing. Left the feedback with the branch manager. Food was bland corn without butter or salt. The Rumpsteak was so chewy that we were unable to eat parts of the steak. The Ceasar salad was bland too. No real cheese, turret provided bred slices instead of croutons. Taking more attention to details, the hot sauce was not cleaned up in a while. The salt and pepper dispenser are were very low. The rib's were sightly burned on the bones. Charcoal taste and smell. Had to ask for cutlery as none was provided even after the starter arrived. They were out of taco's and no wings of any kind were at all. Feedback was taken by the manager, will visit again to see how they improved. Today's tgi experience was not better than a visit to Harvester.
On Saturday, March 5, I went with my family for lunch, my daughter ordered a hamburger, my son ordered some ribs, my husband ordered a medium-done beef steak and I ordered fajitas without spicy and without guacamole, they took our order 15 minutes after arriving, it was very difficult for someone to pay attention to you. My son's ribs had a strange flavour, he said. My husband's meat was overcooked, dry and burnt. And they added spice to my fajitas, which I had asked NOT TO DO. So I asked that they please make them again but without spiciness, 10 minutes after they brought them, the meat was a little raw and without salt or any flavour, not seasoned at all. So I didn't eat it. To ask for the bill we had to wait a while, so we got up from the table and went to the entrance to pay, they gave us the bill for more than £100! because they had charged me twice for my fajitas, so we asked them to fix the mistake since they had made the fajitas the wrong way, they said they would call the manager, but this manager never came or showed up, they said he or she was very busy. After 20 minutes waiting they brought us the new bill and we could finally pay and leave. - Slow service. - Bad service. - Terrible food.
Arrived at the restaurant, a number of staff walked around and did not acknowledge us standing there waiting to be seated. The restaurant was not busy as it was late in the evening. Finally someone came over after 8 minutes and took us to a table. We ordered our meals, which took 40 minutes to arrive. No one asked how our meal was. We asked for drinks which again took 15 minutes to arrive. We had to keep standing up to find a member of staff to ask for a desert menu as well as drinks. The burger I ordered was dry and overcooked, the bun was over toasted. The Honeycomb Cheesecake tasted like butterscotch Angel Delight and arrived with no cream as stated on the menu. Next to the table was shelving which was thick with dust. We gave feedback which was ignored. Quite an unpleasant experience. Staff did not appear to be working together, no structure. A bad atmosphere. Real shame, as it was the first time I had visited this restaurant, won’t be going again and would not recommend. Came for dinner with my kids and the staff and food was brill. My kids loved the staff, they made such an effort. I have dietary needs and they changed a part of the menu to suit me which was was so wonderful!! Shall definitely be back! Thank you! Vegetarian options: As with dietary Kid-friendliness: Staff are wonderful with my kids. Balloon hat and dogs! Very happy!! Parking: No problems parking. 2 min walk. Dietary restrictions: I have crohns and can only eat certain foods. Staff were more than helpful changing the menu to suit my needs.
Fast service , great food . The staff here were great .Food: 5/5
Unfortunately we had a bad experience here we were a party of 12 the only ones in at the time .we visited after the pantomime. We had to wait for a very long time which was difficult for some of our group as they have acquired brain injuries . The food turned up wrong and cold . After we complained it was replaced but then overcooked. The manager was trying her best but was obviously under immense pressure as standards were terrible ,in fairness she heavily discounted the bill..that was not what we requested by any means but we just needed to be honest and hopefully it will improve standards for all . I'm sorry to complain as I very seldom leave negative reviews
