Close at least 20 minutes before advertised closing time. I have complained about this to management at least twice now and nothing changes. Quite a poor general product offering compounded with the very poor customer service makes this a no go. Would recommend the shell at maybury if you need an emergency bread/milk as is 24/7 with no quibbles!
No matter when you go, only one check out is on. Supervisors have their backs turned to check outs and ignore the queue getting longer until someone complains.....upsetting the supervisors because you've interrupted their chat. Quick, efficient and customer friendly are words this place does not know the meaning of. Check out staff get no help. Place seems to be constantly restocking the shelves but you can never find what you want. Worst Tesco I've been to.
The girl behind the counter was too busy chatting to her friends, then served some random person after ignoring me. Eventually, I just got attitude. The security guard followed me around the shop. Employees getting in the way with their cages, etc, huffing at me as if I was in the way! No manners, zero help, and I can't understand half the folk that work there. I won't ever return, and I would urge others to consider shopping else where. P.s the stock is minimal aswel.
I'm in there everyday on my way to work was in today i had just been to anthor Tesco branch only jumped in for a drink and as i was paying for it a member of staff trying to accuse me of shoplifting all because I'd been to an branch won't be going back there again.
When I visited Edinburgh I knew I was going to have to set aside a whole day for this shop. I arrived early and the crowds were minimal. I was hoping there would be a guided tour or maybe just a headset with some facts but there was neither. Luckily I'd read a lot before arriving so kept the kids busy with little bite sized facts. As soon as we entered we were momentarily taken aback by the beauty. The pastry section and the meal deal selection immediately drew us in. We spent about an hour there before moving to the canned goods and Toiletries. We could have spend more than a day here as there was so much to look at but we had to leave early evening.nnOverall a fantastic experience that anyone from 0-100+ years old will love. Will definitely be back in the future.
