Never again shopping at Tesco. Last time I had a full check when spending 145 pounds and taking the alcohol. Today, I decided not to take any risk of getting a full check, as I wanted to get my shopping done quickly, so I didn't take any alcohol. Guess what... Again - full check. Luckily it was only 70 pounds so I didnt need to spend 20 minutes of time at check as they expected me last time. However... I would not let anyone waste my time like that... Never again. I understand a little checks, but not every single item. It's like double wasting of time for me. If you treat your workers and customers like that guess what - f...u. If the devil force me to do a shopping at Tesco and I will have a full check again I will simply leave my trolley and leave the shop. It's horrible!
This is a really big Tesco with a good range of products including appliances and clothing; there’s also a pharmacy, phone shop and a Holland and Barrett section. The fresh fruit and veg section is excellent and they have a really good world food section.nSo why haven’t I given it 5 stars?nThe cafe and seating area is looking very tired, there are fewer “real” checkouts with a real human, staff on the floor are few and far between… it seems to me that it is not the store that it was even a few years ago.
Rude security staff on the door. A security tag had unfortunately been left on tshirt and the utter lack of response or want to help was shameful. I was toldn'they were far too busy to help' and rolled their eyes. Shocking.
Came late in evening. It was completely empty but huge. We did some shopping and kindly were able to use the toilets. Efficient and friendly service
