My wife and I have been here quite a few times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the home made baking. The staff are always friendly, polite and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Tealicious as the best tea room in Co Durham and further!

Great little place for afternoon tea. The place is quaint with China cups and plates. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Now..onto the food. I've gotta say this was the best afternoon tea I've had anywhere. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. All homemade and to order. I asked for a variation on my sandwich and it was no problem. It was extremely filling, couldn't eat much for dinner in the evening! I would recommend the fruit scone and Bakewell tart...delicious! The finger sandwiches were big and fresh. Great selection of drinks and can swap tea for coffee or a cold drink if you prefer. I would definitely recommend it and go again if I'm in the area.

Lovely little tea room serving a good range of teas and lovely home baked cakes. The orange drizzle cake was amazing. Lovely service.
