James is a most wonderful man and it was a pleasure to meet him at 9.41 on a cold Friday evening in November. His service levels are unsurpassed and I wish him well (not that he needs it) with his business. Arrived in Kendal. Googled 'Taxis in Kendal'. Expected to find the usual local firms. Could we have known at this point the delights that awaited us? One click, and James' personal website told us everything we needed to know. No need to compare (unlikely any other service could match it)... Dialed immediately. Transport into town, transport back from town. Both arranged with the highest possible levels of professionalism, timeliness and compassion. Of course, one must also mention the musique... Dolly Parton there, 80s on way home. Simpleh loveleh James- a true gent, with superb local knowledge (very useful in an area full of unnamed country tracks that don't appear on sat navs...) 11/10. 6* Superb xxx0
