Arrived in Kendal.
Googled 'Taxis in Kendal'.
Expected to find the usual local firms.

Could we have known at this point the delights that awaited us?

No need to compare (unlikely any other service could match it)... Dialed immediately. 

Transport into town, transport back from town.
Both arranged with the highest possible levels of professionalism, timeliness and compassion.

Of course, one must also mention the musique... Dolly Parton there, 80s on way home. Simpleh loveleh
