Very poor. Not enough space for buses to enter and load at busy times. Very dark in winter as there is no lightning. No facilities. Nearest toilets are in the shopping center up a flight of stairs. The bus station is separated by a main road as buses depart on the opposite side.
The perfect place for a bus for a trip into the lakes.
Timetables could do with been renewed, otherwise it's a bus stop.
An architectural marvel. Sit on the benches and share your packed lunch with a local Kendal pigeon. Admire the delightful concrete. You will never want to leave this sublime bus station.
Covered by roof so you don't get wet, lots of reliable information about other services, leaving the site. Shame that there are no digital updates on boards, like the train station dose. Some buses have WiFi. Exact change recommended for bus travel in The Lakes/northwest.
