First class B&B. Immaculate room, great central location and the best full English breakfast. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Swanage.

Spent three nights at the fabulous Taunton House B&B while taking part in The Purbeck Nordic Walking Festival and can recommend it highly. Bill and Michelle went over and above the call of duty in making sure everything went smoothly for me. They were so friendly, helpful and generous with their time and knowledge of the area - It was very much appreciated, especially when they went the extra mile with help re the chain link ferry at Sandbanks. Their home is a lovely character building, clean with beautifully comfortable beds and quality furnishings throughout. The breakfast was plentiful, varied with good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. This B&B is right in the centre of town, no need for the car, plenty of fantastic walks and places of interest nearby. In short, this must be the best place to lay your head in Swanage.

A perfect Base to explore Swanage and the surrounding Purbeck Hills. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very clean. The breakfast menu is superb, and we were well looked after by Bill and Michele who pampered to our every need. Our Border Terrier Tilly also loved her stay and would recommend Taunton House B&B just as much as we would, get yourselves down there for an amazing holiday.
