A delightful overnight stay. Clare House is centrally located near to all amenities. Diane and Alan were friendly and helpful. Alan made sure that he explained how everything worked when he settled us in. We had a room at the top of the house with a view over the surrounding houses of Swanage Bay. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The complementary White Company products in the bathroom were a bonus, as was the availability of dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast is ordered the night before from a huge selection and was delicious. The only thing to point out is the number of stairs in the house and the steep hill outside. Neither were a problem to us but people with mobility issues should be aware.

We had a wonderful time in Clare House, Swanage. It is wonderfully located, so close to the promenade and all the restaurants and shops. The guest house is very professionally run by the warm and friendly owners, providing excellent facilities and an outstandingly wonderful breakfast. We will return! Thank you. Noel and Miranda

Quiet and comfortable rooms. Friendly owner. Great breakfast. Central location. Parking is a problem.

It has to be the best guest house Ive been to over a good many years. Not only are the rooms lovely, bur the quality even goes down to the towels in the bathroom. Great place.
