The best Chinese takeaway in Chatham. Very nice food and good prices. Delivery is always extremely fast. The place does have some seating inside, but the place is more of a takeaway than restaurant.
Certainly not impressed if this is the taste of China! The customer service was great but sadly the food let it down! This place was recommended to me so was excited to try, unfortunately I will not be returning. The food arrived cold, the order was wrong and it tasted extremely bland, didn’t taste of quality or that it was cooked properly, certainly not what you expect from a Chinese takeaway. Very disappointed. Oh and no fortune cookie!!
having been ordering from this place for some time we have been happy with the food when it arrives. The fact that when ordering we are now often told time and time again, delivery will be 45 minutes. But after 45 mins have passed getting told delivery is on its way will be 20 mins and getting a quick response of ‘sorry.’ Seems to be very easily said and doesn’t seem to mean anything. After another 20mins still no delivery again resulting in another phone call to get the same response even tho they had previously said it was out for delivery already. This shows a lack of respect for customers. I understand that sometimes things can go wrong but this has happened a few times over the last few months. After trying to give them the benefit of being extremely busy after today, I will be now looking at using another restaurant for my food. Do not let this put you off but delivery may not be as they say. Customer service expectations deliver on what you say. Note - an hour and a half we waited
I have the roast duck on rice but it is more "stewed duck on rice" and I can see no sign that the duck has ever been roasted...! The compensating thing is that there is quite a lot of meat. The spring rolls are two large ones for £2 so quite good value.
Moved out of the area a year ago and really missed this place. As I was working in Chatham this week I took a chance and went back. The staff recognised me as soon as I walked in and remembered exactly what I always used to order, so freindly and polite! The food as ever was wonderful, can't fault the place at all!
Good, tasty Chinese cuisine. Really glad we found this place. Mmmm... Five years later I have to say that I stopped getting food from 'A Taste of China' quite a while back cos I kept getting food poisoning.
The chicken was pink. The chips were stone cold and dry as well as the sweet chilli beef. Worst chinese I’ve had.
My favourite Chinese Food Takeaway - and I have a lot of choice round here. Food is traditional chinese - not too many sweet sauces, nice and fresh.
I would not order from this disgusting takeaway ever again after placing an order for over 30 pound food turned up cold and what could only be described as dusgusting... if i wanted cold food i would of gone to iceland simply fact after ringing up and complaining i got abuse and was told i was lying well lets just say i shall not be ordering again and advise that no one should
The food came earlier than then suggested time on Just-Eat which was a plus and it tasted great as well. Would definitely recommend
