First of all, convenient location for us. Great place for soaking up the sun while enjoying your drink. Friendly and efficient staff. Serving cider we like.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. But I wish they’d got a bit more of a variety of beers on tap. They never seem to have a dark beer or a sour. They’re always low to mid strength bitters. Good selection of cans in the fridge, but if I go to a pub, I like to drink tap beers.

We love The Tap; excellent board game selection, good local beers on tap, and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended. Plus great pork scratchings! We also tried the pizzas, which were delicious, and played lots more board games. Definitely a place to try.

Great bar just off the stray, fantastic little sun trap with a great choice of beers. Also had pizzas which were way much better than any takeaway including the big chains. Will be back when visiting Harrogate again
