Story

The Slug & Lettuce is in the heart of the picturesque Montpellier quarter of Harrogate on Montpellier Hill, just a few minutes walk from The International Centre. Overlooking the 200 acres of open grass land known locally as The Stray this is the ideal place to enjoy a cappuccino, a glass of fine wine, a beer from our extensive continental range or a local pint of hand-pulled ale.

Perfect location. Visited here on Saturday. We booked the bottomless brunch. Great value for money. 3 course! We will be booking again in the new year! All the staff where amazing. Special mention to Catherine. So welcoming.
The service was great. I had Lincolnshire sausage, mash and peas. It was a microwave meal and the peas were like bullets. Very disappointing.
Really fab food and good value for money.
Food was done in quick time. Steak was abit fatty. Services was great Covid safety was average but the next table to us were walking around with NO MASKS but it stated on the door when we walked in please wear MASKS & staff asked us to wear masks when walking around to the bar or toilets
the staff Who served us were wonderful.Told them I would bring them a tip,will do that tomorrow.Kathrine and the young bar man.
No matter how busy they are, the staff will fit you in somehow ! We love your cocktail deals are brill !!
Our waitress was absolutely lovely short blonde curly hair would rate her 5/5. However too many loud drunk people were allowed in who were shouting, and a group of teenagers who refused to follow rules and threw drinks at each other.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food we had. Good set up for the current climate. Will be back soon.
