Came for an event and quite impressed with the sound system and visuals. However, we had to queue for about an hour, despite paying for tickets as they only had one ID checker. Also there is a £10 minimum bar spend and the drinks are quite pricey for up north but to be expected for a rated club I guess. Also no tap water, only bottled which they want cash for.

ABSOLUTE SCAM drove an hour and a half to see silky, was waiting until 3.30am and as time went on we knew he wasn’t going to be coming. nobody in the club ever mentioned this they left us still buying drinks all night listening to someone we didn’t even want to see until closing time. time wasters. AVOID
First and last time going to tank. They charge different prices at different bars, I think they just decide what they charge depending on the person. Would’ve been an amazing night if it wasn’t for the terrible venue and service. If you want a proper underground night out I’d suggest you go somewhere proper like dryad or hope works. They also were promoting that electrikal sound system was there, which they were not. I have a better sound system at home, I should’ve booked all the talented DJs that came tonight and hosted a party at my house. Shameful
Sunken Mondays are unreal, reasonably priced drinks and sick music! Super happy to get a chance to work with one of the best student party organisers. Good times and good vibes only.
Went to see silky on 29th April. Silky didn’t turn up which admittedly isn’t the venue’s fault but no announcement was made on the night, instead just covering with resident DJs which is not what people went for. No mention of refunds now a week later, seems like they’re just trying to bury it. Other bad points are £10 minimum card spend, expensive drinks and the fact I was told to go to the toilet for tap water. Doubt I’ll visit again after this.
Tank is absolutely the place to be if you like drum & bass. Great lineups and always a good night music-wise. I have found the dance floor area to be a little more spacious and less claustrophobic since the revamp. Only problem is the £10 minimum card spend at the bar which really puts people off buying drinks there. The bar can also sometimes be awkward about giving people tap water which is not great considering how hot and sweaty it can get in there. If the bar and drinks prices were more student-friendly and more air-con was installed then Tank would be perfect.
Not offering tap water? Bar staff telling me to get it from the toilet, legally as a company you have to provide tap water. Rude toilet attendant pushing people out of the toilets and £10 minimum card spend. Only good thing about this place was the music
Asked for tap water made us walk to 3 different bars as half of them couldn’t provide water. To then be told they don’t give away free tap water and you will have to buy a £2.50 bottle. Lots of fights and boucers did nothing
Chase and status was the worst rave I’ve ever been to. The crowds are so so so bad, so much pushing in your back and no room to dance. Couldn’t even listen to the music cos I was focusing on the crowd so much. Don’t let annoying chavs in and don’t over sell tickets. Never going again . Also so expensive for drinks. £5 for a can of Red Bull. Ripping of poor students
