Great campsite for caravans, motor homes and tents. Spotless facilities and a very nice and comforting owner. She really is doing a great job! Campsite is situated right to the town with very good access to down town and supermarket. Be aware that it is a little bit noisy due to the passing larger streets. Enjoy your stay it’s worth it.
Lovely camping park 5 minutes walk from Dolgellau town centre with its numerous excellent pubs and restaurants. I camped but many people arrived with camper vans and there are many static caravans and seasonal pitch caravans there. Plenty of camping space. Wash rooms are spotless and well maintained. A great base for many local walks. Good value for money.
Views from the site, are very nice. The tent pitch had rocks under grass and was difficult for pegs to stay in. Clean toilets and showers. However the water pressure and temp very poor. The downside of this site is that is expensive, we had been charged £45 per night for 2 adults and 2 children. Not very clear communication with the owner about pricing.In addition nothing was free, except showers, toilets and cleaning dishes station. Charging the phone in the bathroom cost 20 p for 2 min that is very expensive. Hairdryer was chargeable as well. Tumble dryer didn't worked,also You need to pay for the usage of the hot water if you need to hand wash something. Nearby village didn't have much to offer as well, except nice big playground for kids. Very poor Wi-fi signal.
Recently visited Dolgellau and stayed at Tan-y-Fron B & B I have to say there was a warm welcome, rooms are very clean and of high standards. Will stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family
We've just returned home from a fantastic stay here, and honestly I couldn't fault it! The site was immaculately clean, every detail thought of and well planned out. We opted for a glamping pod, these are situated at the top of the site with it's own toilet facilities so you didn't have to do the walk down to the main block at night should you need to go! The views of the Welsh hills from here are beautiful!! Each pod had its own little seating area equipped a picnic table and BBQ stone. The pod itself was spacious and clean, with electricity and a TV! The host is kind and couldn't do enough for us I would highly recommend staying here, local to bala lake and king Arthurs labyrinth a fab day out and not far from barmouth beach it really is a winner!! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you again x

I can't judge this fabulous site mid summer season but have used it twice for a couple of nights each time whilst working in Dolgellau. I was spoilt, I had the facilities all to myself. Great serviced pitches and shower room was spotless with plenty of hot water, it was heated so nice after a shower. The washing up facilities were also spotless. Sue the owner was welcoming and friendly. A safe secure feeling site with a key code entrance.
Great site. Really quiet, Facilities spotless, Views amazing and owners friendly and helpful. We were in an 8m motorhome which they were fully able to accommodate The town is a couple of minutes down the road with fantastic pubs and cafes. The majority of them are dog friendly and all the people we have met during our stay have been lovely and friendly. Great couple of days i a lovely little town. We will definitely return.
What a wonderful campsite for this part of the year. 5-10 minutes walk to the town, 5 minutes walk away from a very big Coop supermarket. Sue was very friendly and constantly doing something with the upkeep of the site. Very proud and conscientious person. Offered us 2 pitches to move to and from due to the storms with 48mph gust. It is a walker's paradise. Facilities were also excellent, showers with taps installed in goodwill probably, none of the push buttons. I would highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time staying here. The first time a few years ago, we camped in a tent and the facilities and toilet block, laundry room etc are all spotless. This time we have stayed in a caravan on site and it is fully equipped for self catering. Is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Even a few extras were left including wine and choccy biccies the views are great. Will definitely be back.
