Very rural and quaint pub with beautiful views around. Dog friendly and staff are excellent. 2 fire stoves in the inside give a homely feel. Lots of local beers to try on tap. Menu has lots of options. Nice beer garden with a great view of the hills and woodland behind. Well worth the visit!
A very welcoming, dog friendly pub. The food was very good for the price, with superb portion sizes. It was a pleasant drive out from the main road, well worth it for the views from the beer garden. A lovely little pub!

Finally made the effort to go for Sunday Lunch as so pleased we did! This is not a place you could find by accident, tucked away in a lovely hamlet quite off the beaten track. You won't be disappointed. Superb food indeed. Great portions, everything fresh and homemade, proper Sunday lunch. Good selection of meats, vegetarian on request. Family service of veg and there was plenty of it. We even treated ourselves to dessert and again all fresh and homemade. Great attentive service, very friendly team with all having a great sense of humour too!
Had a lovely meal here the night before my daughter’s wedding. The staff were lovely and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Mike for a great night!
Terrible service. We called ahead booked a table for 7. It took an 45 minutes before anyone took our order and it took another 45 before food came out. Once it did, one of the steaks wasn’t edible, we couldn’t even cut through it. When we asked for another and tried to address it with the staff, the chef came out and gave us a ton of attitude right away. The chef escalated the situation before we could even explain what the problem was. Do not waste your time here for food.
Wow what a beautiful country pub, staying in Diddlebury for a week away. Booked in for Sunday Lunch superb value, amazing selection of vegetables and brilliant home made desserts. Booked in for Steak night on Thursday can't wait!
We came across this place whilst driving through the Shrophshire Hills. Absolutely beautiful roast, large portion sizes, great value, and very warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic pub.good welcome from mine host and we were lucky enough to get a meal of such superb quality we shall make a return.it has been mothers day and lots of locals enjoying lunch is always a good sign. Staff excelled in making it special for moms.cant wait for our return. All the best from twerly.
