From the outside it looks nothing special, but looks are sometimes deceiving. It has the feel of a very traditional pub, with a few modern twists. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. And the food was lovingly prepared, home-made pub grub, all at fair prices. The only reason I was tempted in was cos I was hungry, and it was getting too late to get food elsewhere. I'm glad I did go in, and I'll be making the effort to go back again, for sure.
Had a gorgeous evening meal with friends. We each had a different starter, main and dessert and every dish was delicious. You could tell that the food was freshly cooked, and great quality ingredients. All the staff were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
Really enjoyed a few pints of real ale here when In the local area. Other drinks including local cider are available. Friendly clientele and staff in this country inn. Looking forward to returning and trying their menu.Service: 5/5
Splendidly old-fashioned pub with traditional bar and cosy dining areas. Usual gastro fare such as fish & chips; burgers; pie of the day; scampi. Add to this sea bass and camembert bake. Quirky beer cask urinals might remind one of being known as a 'p...' artist in one's youth.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Swan Inn. An absolute gem. The food was fresh and home cooked. The service was incredible and we were made to feel so welcome. Without doubt, one of the best pubs we have visited.
