There is a gin distillery, butchers, bakers, coffee shop, ice cream parlour and patisserie. The ice cream was fantastic! Also bought some amazing rhubarb gin and macarons. There is onsite parking but it is very close to the town centre.
Nice little location out of the way! Definitely worth a visit for a coffee, ice cream or gin!
A lovely little town well worthy of a wander around. Lots of lovely cafes and little shops to browse and you are bound to find something that little bit special that you can't resist gifting...and something you can't quite bear to give away too!
Lovely place a lot younger me ..use to store furniture there so fond memories of the yard
I visited once again Florian Poirot's shop as I always do every time I am in Malton. The best ever macarons I have ever tasted. I am a dedicated client to Florian. He is the best master patisserie. You should visit his shop . I strongly recommend that.
Lovely looking place with some engaging little shops. The coffee was excellent as was the ice cream. The gin was lovely as well. The pork pie from the butcher was one of the best I've had for a long long time
On the website it says Food Court open from 12 noon to 10pm on Saturdays and I went along with many others on a coach excursion following a trip to Castle Howard nearby as I thought it was a nice way to end the day prior to returning to hotel. Got there at 3.30 pm on a Saturday... Not many of the food concessions open and ostensibly all the group had an ice cream and got back on the coach. Patisserie was open but not a full patisserie selection and tea room too busy, butcher closed at 2pm etc. Website should detail what times all food areas are open ... disappointing esp for a Saturday !
Contains quite a few artisan businesses, a butcher food to remember, and a artisan gin maker
Fantastic collection of artisan food producers. Florian's macarons are world class. Roost's coffee is excellent as are the brownies from the Bluebird Bakery. The butcher and ice cream shop are well worth a visit too. Gin shop opening soon I hear, so something for everyone.
Wanted something to eat. Only seemed to have ice cream and fancy cakes, oh and a bakery. All seemed good but it hardly seemed to qualify as a food court!
