First visit but will not be the last. Service and customer care is excellent. I dropped a knife and it was picked up and changed in a moment by Kirsty the waitress.Super service without a word from me. The food is good and at a reasonable price .The toilets are very clean with reading matter on all walls. Atmosphere very good and certainly a good place to visit. I congratulate and thank both waitresses Kirsty and Frankie for the excellent customer care

Have just returned to our hotel after a lovely eating experience at Chapter 1.This is a lovely bistro who provide basics beautifully cooked We both had vegetable soup which was delicious and most warming on a freezing night.This was followed by steak pie for my wife and gammon for me both dishes delicious. Our bottle of Merlot was great and competitively priced. But possibly best of all was the lovely service we received.Definitely a place to visit

Good location but think need to focus on coffee training as both were bland and nowhere near to what they were supposed to be (flat white and cappuccino) Breakfast was good though.

the best fries .. you can find in Malton town ..really good food. and nice people...great really recomend

Gorgeous meal.lovely service and a beautiful atmosphere. Really helpful with my daughter and her mobility walker. Well done. Will go again.
