You can always guarantee about a 20 minute wait to get a drink here over weekends which you wouldn't mind if the service was of a decent level. However, last weekend, a friend I were waiting at the bar for a drink (for around 20 minutes) when a barmaid at the other end of the bar was questioning who was next to be served. We pointed out the poor guy next to us (who must have been waiting for nearly half an hour) was next. Rather swiftly afterwords my friend made a (private) comment to me that we had been waiting F*ing ages, to which the barmaid (at the other end of the bar) replied: "for that you go to the back of the queue!" Obviously we left. Having already waited so long and being treated liked we were school kids again we had been made to feel humiliated. This is a real shame. There's so much potential in this place, but the service and staff will bring it down. Thank goodness for the new Gin Bar, Chapter Two and the Spotted Cow. Top service.

Fab hidden gem in Malton, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Very clean and tidy building that is surprisingly spacious. This Café that opens late on a Friday and Saturday looks like a high end restaurant but it's more happy priced supper food, no awkward glass clinking or whispering here! 😀

Fantastic place. We have eaten here in several Occasions and never once been dissatisfied. Staff are wonderful and welcoming. The Cafe/Bar is stunning. Immaculately clean. Delicious local produce. Rainbow cake and many others on offer - big hit wth the kids! This business supports its community and other local business where possible. Genuinely nice people, with old fashioned values. Dog friendly. Fabulous Gin bar with over 40 Gins! Very well trained staff too. Cocktail masterclasses available. They even have a get together for the community on a Tue evening to support the lonely, estranged, newcomers to the area, people who want to talk etc! Oh, and they provide sun cream for customers! Bloody amazing! Xxx

Absoluteky love this place! Food is lovely and the cocktails are lush. Such a friendly staff and just a happy place to be. Definitely just what malton needs.

Apparently We have a new chef food is top notch as every time I have eaten in bar 46 . Alot off places especially in Malton the standards fall quickly as they don't change their menu and it's really good they do change the menu food and a good atmosphere that's all we need all I can say it's brill credit due to hard work and good staff Really friendly and felt well come Thank you all x
