Was in Bideford on business and needed somewhere to eat, so thought I’d try here. Service was as others have said a little cold but not rude. My starter was ok, although would have liked more variety in the accompanying salad (it was one piece of cucumber and some lettuce). The main course though I didn’t enjoy. The rice and my curry seemed overly greasy, and the chicken was not very nice - it was hard as if it had been reheated, or perhaps it was a very cheap cut of Chicken. The naan Bread was nice though, which was good as it filled me up and I didn’t have to finish the main course. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

Consider this.. Saturday evening, nobody else in restaurant the whole length of our meal. What do locals know. Wine chosen apparently not available. Went for cheaper bottle. Already opened bottle then arrived at table. This should never happen. Suspect, judging by taste, it was house wine. Restaurant can solve any doubt by opening at table. Meal arrived, very plain. No rice delivered. Had to chase. Service generally cold and impersonal. Final bill, had wine at the original bottle price. Basically everything was very debatable verging on bad.

Very nice food, ordered a takeaway and some of our food was missing, we had taken quite a long drive to get there so couldn't go back that evening but was easily resolved the next day. Nice food, restaurant and takeaway.

Well cooked food in a pleasant environment served by friendly staff.

Ordered tonight. Every takeaway order arrives at more than the cost stated at the restaurant over the phone. Tonight by £4! Food usually good but sick of arguing with delivery drivers.
